World Book Day At LICS

Learners from Pre-Primary and Primary schools recently came together to celebrate the joy of reading through a vibrant and engaging series of activities. The event transformed the school into a lively hub of storytelling, creativity, and imagination.

From the youngest readers in Pre-Primary to the older Primary learners, children immersed themselves in a variety of fun-filled experiences. These included reading in outdoor book nooks, participating in playground story adventures, and becoming “book quote detectives,” all designed to deepen their love and appreciation for books.

Adding to the excitement, both learners and teachers dressed up as their favourite book characters, bringing beloved stories to life across the school. The colourful costumes and enthusiastic participation reflected a shared passion for reading throughout the LICS community.

The celebration highlighted the school’s strong commitment to fostering a reading culture from an early age. At LICS, reading is more than a skill; it is a shared experience. The school proudly embraces reading for fun, reading to learn, and reading together because every page builds a brighter future.
