In our Going Global unit, the Year 5 learners have been exploring the concept of global trade. To consolidate their understanding, they visited Trade Kings (Dairy Gold), where they had the valuable opportunity to observe the full production process of various products. Students learned about each stage, from sourcing raw materials, to manufacturing, to packaging, and finally to distribution for export or placement on the shelves of local supermarkets. This educational experience deepened their appreciation of how goods move through global and local supply chains
