The LICS Arts Academy transformed the school into a hub of creativity and talent last week as students, staff, and families gathered for the LICS Arts Festival. This year’s event was a celebration of artistic expression, showcasing the diverse talents of our school community in both visual and performing arts. The festival kicked off with the musical notes of the vocal ensemble groups. Thank you to Martin House senior primary, Home of Happiness, Fangyun Lily, LICS Primary and Secondary choirs for taking to the stage to perform for us. Day 2 of the Arts Festival the school celebrated individual instrumental and vocal talents of students from Baobab College, British International Primary School, Martin House, American International School of Lusaka and International School of Lusaka. The students had the opportunity to perform in front of their peers and parents as well as South African guest adjudicator, Kobus Buys. Day 3 of the Arts Festival, the community celebrated the talented artists of LICS and Martin House Trust School where beautifully selected art pieces were entered and adjudicated by the wonderfully talented local Zambian artist Natasha Evans. The annual Art and Music Festival at LICS continues to be a beloved tradition, providing students with a platform to share their passions and talents while bringing the community together in celebration of the arts.
