Leadership took centre stage as our School Sports Captains and House Captains stepped away from the usual school routine and headed to Kuzipa Farms for a meaningful and memorable leadership retreat.
Surrounded by nature and away from the familiar school setting, our young leaders had the opportunity to pause, reflect and explore what it truly means to be a leader. The retreat went beyond titles and badges, encouraging our captains to think about the responsibility that comes with leading others.
Through engaging activities and thoughtful discussions, the captains explored the importance of leading by example, taking responsibility, inspiring others and being positive role models for their peers.
The retreat also provided an opportunity for the captains to connect with one another, build stronger relationships and understand how teamwork and communication can make a real difference when working towards a common goal.
Leadership is not simply about being at the front it is about listening, supporting, encouraging and bringing out the best in others. These were some of the key lessons our young leaders took away as they prepared to put their leadership skills into action back at school.
We are excited to see our captains take what they have learned at Kuzipa Farms and turn those lessons into action, helping to build a school community where everyone feels inspired, supported and encouraged to thrive.
The retreat was a wonderful reminder that great leaders are not defined by their titles, but by the positive impact they make on those around them.
