It was a day of running, cheering, laughter and giving as learners, staff and parents came together for a fun-filled fundraising run in support of the school’s Education Outreach Programme (EOP).
From the first lap to the final finish, the atmosphere was buzzing with energy. Learners raced, parents joined in, staff showed off their running skills, and enthusiastic supporters cheered everyone on. There were smiles all around as the LICS community turned a morning of exercise into an opportunity to make a difference.
But this was about more than just crossing the finish line. Every lap counted. Every cheer mattered. And every contribution helped.
Funds raised through the event will support the Education Outreach Programme, which works to make a positive difference in the lives of children and communities beyond the school.
The event was a wonderful reminder that giving back does not always have to be serious or formal sometimes, it can look like sneakers, big smiles, friendly competition and a whole lot of cheering!
For the LICS community, it was a chance to get active, have fun and come together for a cause that matters.
With everyone playing their part, the message was clear: when we run together, we can go further together.
